January

The annual Gala is a semi-formal to formal community event. There are several sponsorship opportunities. Individual tickets as well as whole tables can be purchased. All proceeds from the Gala go towards the scholarships we award to six seniors from Long County High School annually. This evening is full of fellowship, good food, entertainment, a live auction and drawings.

February-March

Once a year we are required to host a PTP meeting. PTP stands for progress through people. Want to be in the know of everything happening in Long County? Our annual ptp meeting is the place to get information from many different sources. This event varies from year to year. It may be a breakfast one year, a lunch the next, and an evening informational meeting the next. Follow the long county chamber of commerce facebook page to stay in the loop.

April

Every spring we host an event called Spring Fling. This is a vendor event for the community. Chamber members as well as non chamber members are welcome to sign up to be a vendor. We have a wide range of vendors including bounce houses, food vendors, booster clubs, florists, craft businesses, and much much more.

Our summer social is typically held in June of each year. It’s a mix n’ mingle fellowship event. For this event we only invite vendors to set up that are raising funds for the community, meaning we do not invite for profit businesses to set up. In the past we had have corn hole tournaments, a band, tons of outdoor activities for the kids, and much more.

We invite everyone to come out and participate on McQueen Street for our annual Trunk or treat community event. This is typically held on the same night that the city of Ludowici recognizes Halloween. You may use your Trunk, a table, community vehicles, heavy equipment, or use your imagination the sky is the limit. If you are not able to join us and would prefer to donate candy that is perfectly fine too. We will gladly accept anything you are able to offer.

The annual Ludowici Christmas parade is hosted by the Long County Chamber of Commerce. We rely heavily on the assistance of our local law enforcement and the Georgia Department of transportation to be able to host a successful parade. We typically host our annual Christmas parade on the 2nd Thursday in December. The parade begins at 6pm. Anyone can enter the Christmas parade once the theme is announced.
