Jr. Chamber Board of Commerce requirements, points system and awards…
Reward:
Most Points: $1000 Scholarship
Second Most Points: $750 Scholarship
Third Most Points: $750 Scholarship
Fourth Most Points: $500 Scholarship
Fifth Most Points: $500 Scholarship
Requirements:
Each semester, members are expected to:
Attend 4 hours of a civic volunteer project
Attend a government meeting (City Council, County Commissioners and/or BOE)
Attend a business tour
MUST attend monthly meetings
Create a "spotlight" slide show about themselves and a local business to present at a monthly meeting and share on social media
Reach out to any city official, interview them, and share the interview at the Monthly Chamber Meeting
Jr. Chamber members can earn points by attending any Long County athletic event or CTSO event
How to Earn Points:
Turn in all paperwork on time
Sign up for the Jr Chamber Board Classroom
Attend monthly meetings
Attend and summarize Civic and/or Government events
Summarize business tours attended
Complete 4 hours of civic volunteer projects
Attend Chamber-led events
